Meet The Therapists

Hi, I'm Janaya -

Owner & Therapist

Schedule - Tuesdays (not accepting new clients)

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have worked in various settings with individuals who have experienced anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. I have a special interest in working with clients struggling with self-esteem issues, perfectionism, control issues,  loneliness,“ the need to please” and “finding purpose”. Helping millennials struggling with "quarter-life crisis" is one of my superpowers, adulting can be hard. I am nationally certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) which is a trauma-focused therapy. Traumatic experiences can include various forms of abuse and childhood issues.

I love what I do! I have witnessed the healing effects of treatment in my extensive work with individuals. It is a huge step to even be on this site searching for help, you can be “strong” and still need "help". Today you are one step closer and I will walk with you on your journey.

Hi, I'm Lesli Davis, LCSW-A Therapist

Schedule- Mondays, Wednesdays & Saturdays

Hello! My name is Leslianne Davis, I go by Lesli and I am an Associate level Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-A).  Although I am newly licensed, I have worked in the human services field for over 15 years. I have provided counseling services in individual, group, couples and family sessions.

I enjoy working with individuals that “get stuck” in their journey in life and enjoy assisting them with getting “un-stuck”. Helping provide client’s with new “tools” to put in their “toolbox” and  realizing that they have everything they need to be successful is why I love doing this work. I truly believe in the therapeutic relationship and believe none of this hard, uncomfortable and oftentimes challenging  work can not be done without providing a safe space, while I continue to be present with you and aware of what’s working and not working to “recalibrate” our process. The two main treatment modalities I have experience with  are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Hi, I'm Ariel Moone, LCSW-A Therapist

Schedule- Sunday- Wednesday

I am a licensed clinical social worker associate (LCSW-A). I acquired my B.A. in Psychology as well as my Master’s in Social Work from NC State University. My counseling experience began with an employee assistance program providing telehealth counseling. I have mainly worked with adolescents and adults. Within my time practicing, I have served individuals and groups who struggle with substance misuse, anxiety, and depression. I feel honored to connect with clients, offer a listening ear, acknowledge clients’ strengths, and provide tools to manage tough situations.

It is my personal hope that the stigma of counseling and reaching out for help is broken within communities of color. It is a human trait to be flawed, hurt, and need help. I do not believe in suffering in silence or feeling alone in joy or pain. The best part of being a counselor is supporting clients during their struggles and to offer a safe space for clients to speak their truth.
