A Bit About Me
I am biracial and was raised in a culturally Jewish household and am very familiar with navigating intersectional family dynamics. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). I received my BA from Warren Wilson College in Asheville NC. I continued my path at Temple University for my Masters of Social Work (MSW) completed in 2013. After receiving my MSW I worked with a variety of people underserved in my community. I enjoyed working with adults with disabilities, and providing elder care, and the individuals and their families who used hospice services. It was there that I honed my compassion, empathy, and learned to give space for strong emotional healing from grief and sorrow.
I transitioned from medical social work to psychotherapy because the transformative power of therapy is strong and clear. If we can confront discomfort, use that to change and grow, we can improve our lives not just emotionally, but physically, mentally, and spiritually. I’m eager to help you achieve your goals and reach a true equilibrium.

I’m an ambivert. I love people, and enjoy being alone.

I spent a year teaching in China, but the Winter Holiday I spent in Thailand to warm back up.

I trained to sing opera in college and enjoy singing almost any form of music.

Most of my free time is spent with my dog and two cats and I will try to cuddle any animal that will let me.
