Kierra Thurman (LCSWA,LCAS)

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA).  I have worked in the human services field for over 10 years. I have worked in community mental health providing individual and group therapy. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.  I have a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina.

My motto is “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”  I’ve always enjoyed helping others and giving back to my community. Being a therapist allows me to continue to help others help themselves and to also give them the opportunity to do the same for other people.
