A Bit About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).    I have worked in various settings including individual and group therapy offices, community mental health, school counseling, hospice, and inpatient psychiatric services.  I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-image issues, grief processing, and life transitions.  I have a special interest in working with individuals who may struggle with the loss of a loved one, life transitions, self-esteem issues, or struggling to find your potential.  I have a Bachelor of Social Work degree from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina.

My favorite quote is “Be the Change you wish to see.”  With this I knew my desire was to help others.  Being a therapist allows me to be the person many of us need(ed) to master this wild ride we call LIFE.  I am not here to be your captain because only you can do that.  I do promise to be a light when things get dark to assist with you finding your own way.
